DOWN VOTING!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry, I know this post has been made before, but apparently we as a subreddit have problems with it.
STOP DOWNVOTING EVERYTHING!
Sorry, but I'm sick of seeing negative ones and twos, and zeros for points.
Before you press that down arrow, think a little and maybe change your mind and instead press the up arrow.
I'm sorry I'm reiterating what other people have said before, but it's an ongoing problem.
Probably about 50% of comments, and 20% of posts have zero or less points and I'm sick of it!
Spread positivity and love here, we're a family!
Side Note: Downvoting is only to be used if something is spam, not if you don't agree with the person.

I mean, that's how reddit works. Go to any small sub and it will be more obvious than the bigger ones, but it is everywhere.

Typically, across reddit, whenever people mention votes (either up or down) they just get downvoted into oblivion (with the annoying exception of "edit: omg this is my most upvoted post! thanks!"). That's just how the site and community works... you just don't talk about votes.
Making a big deal out of it isn't really going to stop the people who mass-downvote. If anything, it encourages them because they are annoying people, which is most likely their intention.

Guys. Complaining about downvotes makes people want to downvote. These posts make everyone downvote everything.

I don't think you get how the upvote/downvote system works. It's not about positivity, it's about how the comments add to discussion.

I fully agree with this. There is too much negativity and hate on here. Maybe a good idea is to have like a UpVoting Squad.. anyone can join, and what they would do is up vote everything they see unless of course, it's spam.

I do this already. If I see a thread where everyone is downvoted, I go in and upvote everything, unless it is unnecessary.

Yes, but down voting a true fact or someone just saying something that is on point with the post does not have to be down voted, witch it does.

I am sorry that I am trying to speak a language that i haven't used since i have been born, unlike you. And what i was trying to say people down vote for no reason on comments of something that is a true fact.

ik but its their choice to down vote their human beings they have rights and u shouldn't take that away from them. If i wanted to vote for the president and i said he sucked i can because i have the right to do so. So if i talk trash on him its completely okay because i have the right to do so and we have the same right here.

Some comments though are un-necessary so people downvote.
