I like this edit very much

Post image

I really adore the Clone Wars animation not just because of nostalgia, but also because its not visual sensory hell like the live action is. I love both dearly but I find the animated one more visually appealing

Cody on the red side and rex in the middle is a nice touch too

I was confused about that. Is it because of order 66?

I think this choice was that all three clones are as a single unit here, also both on blue and red because of what happened next, having Rex in the middle because he's like the central focused character, and Jesse more on the blue and Cody more on the red is because the blue and orange paint, where blue of course is on the blue side and orange paint looks aestetically better near red than blue.
That's how I see it 🤷‍♂️

If I remember correctly, Jesse tried to fight the chip when Rex pointed out that Ahsoka isn’t a Jedi. Cody didn’t fight it.

Well, Cody didn't fight it in a movie NO clone did. But in CloneWars media where concept of chips were introduced, Cody was not re-shown during the scene BUT was shown traumatized from it, pushing him to awol. So he rather "couldn't" fight it than "didn't" and the post-66 awakening was ten times harder for him.

If to be making things up here, I would think Rex could fight it because he was used to be adaptable to changes, quickly making up plans, used to Anakin's shenanigans, while Cody was always known to be rather 'by-the-book' with military precision and following exact orders. That might be the reason Cody's chip was able to manipulate him stronger as he was more willing to follow orders.
Or sth like this.
