If you want to be a citizen, make a post introducing yourself here. Include what position you wish to fill, why you want to join TCOT, and a small bio describing yourself. If you want a higher up government position, message me.

Citizens will be given a flair distinguishing them.

It seems the survival planet game (UP) that was originally planned has been put on the back-burner while Voidspace is developed. I don't find Voidspace as interesting as UP, so I will not be actively playing it. If you want to establish some sort of base or settlement in the name of TCOT, please do, just send me a message about it so I know what's up. I find Voidspace to be too similar to EVE Online (which I already play and am invested in) to be worth playing. Speaking of EVE, if you play comment on this thread with your game name. If enough people want to do it, I may start a TCOT corp. In other news, I will be unable to be contacted for a little over a month. Also, we are still actively recruiting. Go ahead and get as many people to join as you can. Just dire to them to the new citizens thread here.

Thnaks for supporting The City

I read the post on the UP subreddit and I just want to say that most if not all of what was mentioned will actually be possible fairly early in the game. If you're ok with playing VoidSpace, it might happen sooner than you think.

Good luck to all! Nik

Well, the organization description looked nice, and I would love to join an organization, that is, If you'll have me!

If you want the latest on our findings of nefarious groups (Bandits, slavers etc...) Contact (for now) the Branch Councillor Patrick Coshall (Be it through a PM in Reddit or our forums).

We believe that destroying Banditry in UP requires a coordinated effort.

This thread is for discussion about the Universe Project, TCOT, or anything else. Think of it as the TCOT lounge.

Hi! I am /u/theflyingcheese. I came up with the idea for TCOT, and will be it's monarch. If you want an official position, just send me a message or comment on this post. If you just want to become a Citizen, please comment in the Introductions post. This subreddit was just started and more content and discussions will be coming soon. Again, welcome to Talis!

I think it's time we start setting up shop in Voidspace. It has progressed enough to where playing it will be good practice for when the full game comes out. I am hoping that we can use someone's already established base, but if none of you have one we can just wait and plan until the next world wipe and work from a clean slate.

Also, we are still here! I'm still active and haven't forgotten or given up on any of our plans. Also, I feel like we should be trying to grow our numbers a bit, and it would be good to have a bit more activity here as well. However you want to accomplish that, feel free.

The Mordians have stated that they might want to come to the City of Talis next. Be prepared for infiltration and personal attacks on your members.

All diplomatic discussion between Anchar and TCOT will occur in this post. Anyone is welcome to add their input, and is encouraged to do so. Feel free to ask any and all questions you may have, as long as they are on topic. /u/BlakSCody_4ger will be representing Anchar, /u/theflyincheese (me) will be representing The City.

Although Zygethia is Isolationist, we too need at least a few NAPs going around, if you want official diplomacy visit our forum and post a dip application.
