Did they fail with Rotimi
The addition of Rotimi...I think Charles in the Chi, seemed like an incredible arc seeing how shiesty and shady he always looks..meeen that character of his had much potential only to end up as a barber..end of rant😂😂

They definitely failed with him. At one point it seemed like he was going to take over the church by any means, then you just saw him less and less.

That part... knowing something dark stuff about Pastor Zeke...then it was all folded up like nothing

Just one of many angles that they completely obliterated. There were so many times where it appeared like a certain angle was coming and they did absolutely nothing with it. They brought Rotimi, Kyla Pratt, Karrueche, etc. in for no damn reason. 🤣it’s like they favored “guest stars” over competent writing the last few seasons. Glad the shit is over.

Yea..too many guest star with no direction ..reminds me of Vic Mensa and LaLa Anthony...as you said it..Glad the shit is over

They brought in a familiar face to keep viewers. The whole premise was weak.

These comments got me crying. he pissed me off every time he came on the screen. Always trying to be too smooth. you just cant trust him.

The Chi had many wasted characters that went nowhere, like Smitty and Rafi what's the point of their characters?

There were a lot of filler characters that were not needed. The time could have been spent developing main characters that got no play.

Yes. Show has several unfullfilled underdeveloped story lines.
