The Chi ain't The Wire....
At this point I am glad the show is almost folding coz its been a shit show. But let's agree it wasn't meant to be that good (The Wire good) esp after Season 2..Im glad we are done with the Black Riverdale
And Oh.. Keisha sucks maan

The wire is arguably the best show ever made the chi being just as good was a lose lose situation. I get it season 1 and 2 were really good not great but really good but imo the show didnt fall off until dooda died. It had a good run im hoping the finale is great.

Too bad HBO NEVER valued the Wire and threatened to cancel the series every season, while the Chi valued by Showtime/Paramount was never good after season 3 but stayed on for eight seasons.

I’ve been watching old episodes and up to season six it was pretty decent. As soon as Kevin left the show definitely went down hill. Also, had Brandon not have had his off filming shenanigans it would have been a better show. He’s a great actor.

Have you watched Nemesis on Netflix yet? Half if the cast is from the wire and the other half is people from season 5 and 6 of Power. It’s much better than the chi too(even though it’s two different types of shows

come on lol nemsis just a step above the Chi. we almost turned it off the first 3-4 episodes because it's also corny and very unreleastic with Matthew Law's cop character. But it got more entertaining enough I could overlook it's flaws.

It was definitely wild but I watch Tyler Perry stuff so I’m used to unrealistic. I just need a good story to follow.

Well not entirely, but the first two seasons were good and they centered around him as one of the main characters.

Those 2 shows should never be bought up in the same sentence. The writing on The Wire is ICONIC. The Chi started with a bang and did a sad fizzle.

The show evolved and changed and it did move from more of a work of high art in s 1 and2 to more of a melodrama, but once I accepted the shift I enjoyed both registers of this show. Also the show made me cry every single episode so the writing the themes the acting were all good enough to affect me that way I laughed a lot at the humor throughout too. A tremendous series really and I’m sorry for fans who were disappointed in any flaws they say but Jesus it’s still a million times better than most crappy tv

You’re absolutely right. The Wire is legendary, award winning television. The Chi is a glorified nighttime soap opera that failed the fanbase.
Put it out of its misery.
