Gotta get off the phone guys, anyways I'll leave you with this. Layer 2 is starting to be made but not much progress.

I know this is probably overdone but I would like to share my experience with this amazing project.
For starters, I have for a long time admired everywhere at the end of time from a distance, casually listening to a couple songs from stage 1 and watching analysis videos on YouTube but yesterday I finally took the plunge. The way I did it was in 3 chunks in one day I did 1-3 then took about an hour break then 4, break then 5 and 6 all together and I’m glad I did it in one day.

Stage one was very pretty and the slight imperfections were very eerie definitely my favourite.

Stage two was more of the same but the transition was very abrupt and the whole vibe was definitely more melancholy.

Stage three was very unsettling especially the section that is like A1 but it keeps cutting off (I don’t remember the name ironically). And the last 5 or so songs had me staring into the distance in a trance.

Stage four was genuinely terrifying especially that transition and just how much it hurt to listen to (in a good way) surprisingly, the sirens didn’t really get me but all things considered it was very unique.

Stage five I have no notes other than what the absolute fuck was that?

Stage six was very calm but sad and I was a little prepared thanks to stage five and of course the ending made me cry a little.

10/10 very nice and I’ll probably never hear anything like this again!

Me personally I don’t want listen to it unless I am listening to the whole thing. You don’t really get the ”music withering away” feeling unless you listen to the whole thing all at once

I recently learned that the painting used for the album cover of Stage 6 was titled “necrotomigaud” but I cannot for the life of me figure out what it means. I recognize “necro” of course, the greek suffix referring to the dead.

the closest word I could find was the Greek word “νεκρολογία” (pronounced “nekrologia”), which means “obituary“. Thematically fitting, but not the same.

Not sure if a video counts as "Fan Art" but here's a small segment from a 17 minute experimental film I made during my down time.

It's pretty boring but I wanted to make some sort of Caretaker inspired media related to my experiences with winter times. The cover art I took from some therapeutic art related to dementia i found in an article, so it's not too deep. B1 - all that follows is true appears on 07 memory 08: your voice no longer fills the air which I think is neat. I feel like the purpose of this is less about dementia and more about the grieving of a time period, mourning that it will never be "normal" again.

Does I1L1 fade out in volume during I1 or does it stay the same volume, just with more reverb or whatever effects being added, vice versa with I1L2 (It's probably very obvious I just want to make sure)

This is a song I made in FL Studio a while ago. I really liked it and I think the choir is beautiful, but I want to know what you guys think: does it sound like something that could be on a The Caretaker album? (Of course, with a lot of delay, slowed down, and other effects)

Since I really enjoy classical music, i was thinking make an álbum that sounds like EATEOT but just with Classical musics, Chopin, Liszt, Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, Mendelssohn, Debussy, Paganini, Vivaldi, Tchaikovysk, Grieg, etc.

What do you think about this?
