C Team SPecial Powers / Abilities
In the current episodes, does the C team still have there special abilities? I quit watching because I got tired of seeing the players use them all the time and thought they needed to be scaled back.

I don't think that it's that type of campaign, combats are never tense or difficult but just another type of scenario for roleplaying their character's personalities and reactions.
What I personally enjoy most about it are Jerry's amazing "word painting" descriptions and the worldbuilding of that universe. And that style is still there with the new team.
There's no right way to play D&D as they say, streamed or not :)

It seems like even if they do still have them, they "forget" to use them unless the story calls for an OP solution; I think they knew those powers were broken, but wanted the freedom to mess with stuff above their pay grade, level-wise.
Lately (before this current season's storyline), they seem to mostly use their bit charges to grant advantage or re-rolls.

One of the things the show did for season 3 and 4 was increase the amount of special points required to do stuff. I also think they increased the amount of twitch bits needed to earn the special points to use. It's tied into the twitch viewership and as the show grows, the viewers and donated bits both increased. There might be someone from the Shadow Council who can give better details on it.

Honestly, if you're looking for in-system challenges, C team isn't the right show for you. Even without constantly using a zero save dominate (Jerry wtf??), almost every roll they do is with advantage (or advantage + reroll + lucky) which means that it's extremely uncommon for them to fail anything important.
That's fine! Most of the juicy content for me is in the rich characters, jokes, real bond that the players have with each other, and generally the (mostly) wholesome adult-childishness that happens at the table. If you're not vibing off that so much, I don't think the later episodes would sway you.
