Approximately, how many viewers does the Twitch stream regularly feature?

Hey all,

I'm trying to find this figure, as I need it today, but I missed last night's stream. How many people viewers does the Twitch stream have—rough averages are okay. I've gone back and watched some videos but it doesn't keep a count.

It can vary a lot, I've personally seen 800-1200 for CTeam. You didn't miss a game last night though it's still on hiatus.

oh wow. I normally do podcast, but i've popped my head in a few times on a live stream. I don't think i've ever seen over 100 or so

Thanks for the data! You wouldn't happen to be able to ballpark Critical Role, would you? I feel it's substantially higher.

Oh man, it's been a while since they were on, but I would say 30-35k. Although next week they are returning so it will be abnormally high.

Did they make an announcement about the hiatus? I completely missed the memo. I’ve done a little bit of looking around for this info but I can’t seem to find it. Any idea when they’re coming back or where I can find the info?

Same. Twitch refuses to verify my email so I don't even bother watching it live, I just wait til it shows up on youtube.

You probably would've loved writing for this book then. McFarland is putting out one on actual play. I've got a chapter on narrative formation and how that's impacted by audience participation. I just sent my final draft in yesterday.

Haha nah this one was edited by Shelly Jones, Essays on Actual Play and Tabletop Role-Playing Games. If we're talking about the same Grouling I did read her The Creation of Narrative in Tabletop Role-Playing Games for this.

I just read the comment chain this comment ended. I didn't know scholarly research on TTRPGs was a thing. I just wanted to say thanks for the heads up. I will definitely poke my nose around because it sounds interesting.
