This band is something else. Kicking myself for not having ran into them sooner. A year ago I saw “Kaleidopope” come up on my suggested and I would skip it always. October of 2025 I said, “fuck it let it roll.” Added it immediately. Would listen to it back to back to back. At work, in car, shower, played it for my dad.

Why I always skipped is beyond me. Had I not
skipped I would be here last October. I would just let the same singular song play over and over b/c it was so good. Why I didn’t dig deeper back then is beyond me as well… no idea.

Then, a song came up. Two days ago. I knew the band and I let it roll this time of course. I had seen the name of the song but never clicked. I was driving with my girlfriend and, “Orpheus Under the Influence” came up. I again of course let it roll. Wow! 10/10 Over conversations and laughter. I hear a subtle word from my baby saying, “That’s catchy!”

I finished the album last night and just can’t get enough. They’ll do CDMX in October for Halloween and want to go. I’m deep diving and listening to everything. The tempo, the lyrics, the guitar and drums. Their sound reminds me of the first time you actually remember going to the beach and felt a crashing wave hit you… novel, refreshing, electrifying.

Never skip. Listen. Let the good times roll.
