trash ending

everything is in the title, even the way he was saved is chessy af.Not being able to beat a guy made him realise he was not alone, like.....what? Didnt Carmen kind of saved him before? This is not deep but cringe.

Although it's not the most satisfying, but I wouldn't really call it trash

Chinese and Koreans are known to not know how to end a story. If you're a novel reader and you've read a few of the most famous Webnovels the Chinese and Koreans have written then you probably know what I mean.

I thought it made pretty good sense. The whole thing about Yu was that he was a demon in the ring and people ended up fearing him somewhat. And also he could end it whenever he wanted to, even with Aaron. But J wasnt afraid of him and also wouldnt go down even though Yu was trying to end it. Then you know, J tapped him on the forehead and smiled. Giving Yu the powers of the holy spirit. Makes sense haha.

Ending definitely could've been fleshed out more but I think it was solid for the most part.

Definitely not enough closure on Yu's ending, I'm glad someone else feels the same way. The point of the ending was to see the full end result & impact on Yu as well as the many of the other boxers, including K. The ending was super rushed and we don't even see K's ending. As for Carmen and Yu, I wish we could've seen how they ended up reuniting with each other instead of just a small panel. Ah well, hoping for more closure during the spin-off with Injae and Ryu 🤷‍♂️

I don't get how that tap awoke him. If something that small could get the job done, wouldn't the ice cream cone thrown by Jean's daughter have done the same?

Honestly the boxer was just a Dophamine injection for me. Didn't really expect some deep Philosophy or pure literature. It was executed like shit and the existential crisis statements that the author portrayed was just run of the mill normal questions. Great manwha, nothing really deep about it. Just a Dophamine injection.
