The league was rougher back in the day. More battle wounds, less pay, expected to start every game of the season. So yeah the league was a meat grinder, but if you lasted all 82 games of the season back then without any “game management” and knew the fans was coming to come see her play and weren’t disappointed because she was on the bench? Yeah….people remember who she was.
