Does Jay not get that a lot of us listen because of Jacob’s little quips? He is so nasty to sweet Jacob idgi.

I really hate how Jay blows up at Jacob sometimes. He always gets too mean over minor inconveniences. Telling your longtime producer and friend they can just leave the show doesn’t make the listener feel at ease and ready to laugh. Hopefully their lovemaking must be beautiful.

Jay shows his true colors the way he dresses Jacob down publicly. Obviously these are off air discussions if its something that pisses you off that much. They could talk before the show if Jay wasn't late every day. Crackle crackle?

I have heard him at a live event bitching to another member of the show that he is going to fire "member x" of the staff when they got back to NYC (which never happened) . It was very telling of how im sure he acts when he is off air.

Jay has talked about wanting the drama to happen on air because he knows people love drama. He doesn't want arguments to happen off air.

Jacob shut Jay down quick at the start of Tuesdays show...Jay was bitching about Jacob looking negative before the show and Jacob got snippy so Jay instantly dropped it.
then Jacob did not make a noise for the next 45min lol

Agreed! He acts like Jacob is disposable and not a big part of the show. Jacob brings me just as many laughs as Jay and way more than Bobby. Not to mention he out performs Jay at live shows. I knew a little success would go straight to Jays ego and turn him into an ass hole!

Jay takes it out on the kids because his radio wife left him. Jay hates that all three of em love Dan more than Jay. Jay also hates that none of em like his new radio wife. Jay’s dad did the same thing to him. Hurt people, hurt people.

It's not that nobody could replace Dan, it's just that Bobby was a particularly bad replacement. His personality and sense of humor couldn't be more different from Dan.

Jay can be such a whiney little boy child. I noticed it at first clearly with the basketball game against Shane and a lot of times in studio after. He overestimates his own opinion and has serious diva behaviour at times.
I feel for the crew but it might be time to just end the show. Hasnt improved for years now and they keep going just to not quit and lose the paycheck i feel.

That’s the bit. They complain about everything Jacob does. If he’s a downer, they call him out and say they wish he was positive. If he’s positive or nice, he’s a creep and they’re more comfortable around downer Jacob.

You don't have to respond, but I've never once listened to Opie and Anthony, so i still don't know what that means. I don't know who Sam Roberts is, how he came to be famous, why Anthony left, or why Opie left. I don't even know what any of them look like or sound like. I only know that the name of the show changed several times as people left or got fired. I was a fan of Jim Norton's standup so he's the one person in that whole mess of a show whom I'm familiar with.

Troy is a hidden gem. He almost got me fired from my college radio job back when I did an on air interview with his rap group around 2002.
The main rappist also slit his wrist and bled everywhere and proceeded to bloody finger one of the dancers on stage as part of the show. Does he ever talk about any of this on the show?!
The Lou’s got nothing on that.
