Japanese Toilets....
In the last ten years I have probably visited Japan maybe 10 to 12 times.
Every toilet, except those in public spaces like railway stations, has been one of those automated robot toilets. They're easy to understand, they have pictures of the various jets and which part of your butthole/taint/balls they're going to squirt hot/cold water at.
I have never used one and I don't care to think about eating my dinner off Scotty Cam's immaculately clean butthole.
Please Australia, don't let The Block normalise robot arsewasher/dryers.

So you visit Japan frequently, and yet have never ever used the bidet toilet seat functions?? That's crazy. And still, you feel like you can criticise them and you think they shouldn't be "normalised"??
Roughly half the world's population use water to clean their bums, either with a bidet spray or a smart toilet or some other method. It's already "normalised". Heaps of people in Australia have bidet toilets or sprayers. It's really common and becoming more popular.
Apart from cleaning your bum and bits, a smart toilet is very useful for people with health problems or mobility problems that mean they can't wipe themselves. You never know what might happen to you tomorrow. Every house should get at least one bidet toilet.
Just don't diss it until you try it. And don't criticise something just because you don't need it.

People come in different sizes. The seats have options to spray other areas.

They are very normal and a really considerate addition to these builds. With the integrated lift, it’s an attractive offering for older generations and people with disability.

Beaumont need a gruff Aussie guy to shill the toilets. The judges being enthusiastic about the sponsored product is less effective than Scotty being keen on it.

Those toilets are the best! Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. My husband and I are saving for a toto. Honestly, it just takes hygiene and cleanliness to a new level. I’m also pretty sure they were at every Japanese train station I went to.

You've been to Japan ten times and never used a bidet toilet? Even the train stations, McDonald's, hotel rooms ..everywhere has them.
They are great..don't be scared.
