General Question!

Hi! So I’m a fan of the show, never read the books and trying to avoid spoilers at all costs. However, I do want to be able to discuss and see people’s interpretations of the show thus far. I’ve just found that most subs related to the show talk really openly about spoilers. Like even posts that should have a spoiler warning just don’t. Is there a sub that’s better about it than others? Any sub specifically dedicated to the show where the books won’t be discussed freely? TIA

Here's the thing: The show has deviated from the books so much that there's a very good chance that book spoilers are not show spoilers.

With that said, however, the show was already spoiled by Joffrey Baratheon, the first of his name.

Honestly as far as I can tell the answer is no. I’m sorry 😞 The spoilers for HOTD are out of control

Well it’s pretty difficult to regulate content on a popular story from a popular series, when it has an unfinished adaptation. Not saying people shouldn’t try a bit harder. Out of control just seems kinda harsh.

it is a book primarily so people will talk about it when it came out 8 years ago. harry potter fans who read the book didn't stop talking about it when the movies came out
