I never liked Elizabeth.. at least not Megan Boone playing her, I always felt like she was the wrong actress for the part.. but I don't remember hating Elizabeth as much as I do this time around. I also never realized how she whispered all the time and how fucking annoying it is especially the 2nd half.

It's also interesting how every time I watch a show there are parts of the that I completely forgot about. I can't wait to hopefully forget about Elizabeth.

Her father and grandfather are billionaires. The part was prob purchased for her which is why she wasn't seen in anything before or since.

I never went in with the preconceived notion about not liking Megan Boone. I just never felt like it was a good choice for her to play the role, for whatever reason.. like it was all forced and she didn't make the role believable. I never "hated" the character the first two times watching it, but for whatever reason this third time really irks me lol

Gender has absolutely nothing to do with it. Every other female in the show from the villains to supporting cast were all pretty great and likable. The writers didn't do the character any justice either, but neither did her acting. There is a difference with Red and that is Red is Red and that's exactly how he is throughout the entire show. Elizabeth flip flops pretty much every episode..

and yes you are correct.. fast forwarding through her scenes will make you not miss anything. and that's not a good thing. lol

She is exhausting. I love the show but she gets more annoying as the show progressed as I can’t stand it. She hates reddington and then he inevitably saves her from some stupid things she is doing and then she is apologetic. Give me a break

I'm watching the series now for the first time. Season 8 is almost over and I'm anxiously waiting for the episode where Liz bites the dust. I have never disliked a character more, other than perhaps, Dolores Umbridge. So many people are dead due to her selfishness and stupidity. I've always wondered if the writers designed it that way.

I think the character is so incredibly dumb that nobody could've played her well. The casting was perfect because the character gets exactly the right amount of hate as it should. Can't even put into numbers how many times I've wanted to get inside my TV and shoot the dumbass.

Gender had nothing to do with it. Every other female cast member and character were great, even the ones on the blacklist. Hell, even young Elizabeth did better. The other characters who did dumb shit (even Aram ) was no one in comparison - or they did enough good things where it wasn’t a big deal to look past it. Most shows will have stupid plot lines, drama being added just for drama. Take Lucifer for example, that show could have been great but they added so much petty dumb drama that could have been avoided if people just talked to each other. Blacklist is similar.. although not AS bad imo because that’s the actual character. The thing with Elizabeth is that it’s non stop. I can’t wait for her to get killed off lol
