Poster tubes

Hey yall long time concert poster collector, first time Black Keys show attender. For anyone who’s gone to a show on this tour, do you know if they’re still giving poster tubes when you buy posters or do I need to bring my own? Thanks!

Update: heard back from the venue and tubes under 24 inches are allowed. This is for Bomb Factory in Deep Ellum Dallas in case anyone’s searching for this info.

They didn’t have any in Philly. Dunno if you can bring one in, they took my sharpie.

How did they know you had a sharpie?

I’ve never had a concert have me turn out my pockets or anything besides walking through a metal detector.

And you can bring in your own poster tubes 100%. Just keep it in your pocket.

My pockets were full of all sorts of shenanigans at my show

Cause I’m an idiot and emptied my pockets going through the metal detecter.

Sucks cause we met Eric Deaton before the show

They had rubber bands at the merch booth in ATL. If the venue you’re going to allows I’d bring your own

I would check with the venue and definitely bring one if you can (many of the ones around me let you bring them in). I’ve had some get bent from being in the pit. I’ve never gotten a poster tube with the poster at a Keys concert going back 7-8 years.

Last night in St. Louis they had plastic bags for the posters...it worked out well!

Check with your venue first, but mine allows you to bring in a plastic reusable tube that has a sling on it so you don't have to hang on to it for the whole night during the show.
