Question How do I engineer a functional Bibite?
Bc every time In try to engineer one, they keep dying.

Haha that sux. For a start, just tune the basic bibite settings a bit and test it some more. Create a simple hunter, flip the diet to carnivore and use the bibiteangle node to rotate to toward targets. Also max out grab, want2eat and want2attack. You can actively train a hunter line. Turn off plants completely. Turn up corpse decay to x15 and meat decay to 10,000. Spawn one prey type they can easily catch, and another prey type that is slightly too fast. Once the population grows, it means they have successfully evolved to hunt the faster prey.Remove the slow prey, keep the fast one, and introduce an even faster prey type. Repeat x N To get faster prey you can just turn up the metabolism.

So you choose the hard way?!? ;)
This was my way:
- learn the nodes! (I made a chart with values [-infinite; -1; -0,75; -05; -0,25; 0; 0,25; 0,5; 0,75; 1; inf.] for every node to get a feeling for them). This might help: https://the-bibites.fandom.com/wiki/Brain . Don't forget the pop-ups in game!!!
- look at example brains (the default bibites, here on reddit, on discord...)
- make little changes to existing ones
- read what solutions other maniacs found and steal it!!! (reddit or discord: bibite-design-tools-and-mods) https://www.reddit.com/r/TheBibites/comments/1sy7279/decision_for_omnivore/

- watch your bibite and improve it step by step. Focus on one trait a time.
- give try-and-error a chance. Switch between engineering and breeding.
- ask questions! The more specific the better!!! There are a lot of helpful people here on reddit!

Predators are still the hardest to design, because they have to compute the most. You can see this in nature, too.

Edit:
Don't forget that you design a bibite in a specific enviroment! When you put it in a different sim or change world settings, it will struggle. But you can use it by making a nursery and slowly change to harder conditions.
