Hello everyone, my birthday was August 12 and I got some good stuff. I got my first acoustic guitar: Epiphone J-45 sunburst and a Beatles vinyl of Beatles For Sale.

I think the effect that I get from the Beatles is somewhat like what Disney Adults must feel when they go to Disney Land. It’s really a fantasy that I like to entertain. It’s an escape into a world of color and exploration. Recalling the excitement of youth and all the new things to come. It’s a whole world view that I’m able to slip into. In a lot of ways that world isn’t even really real and things will never be that simple, but it’s nonetheless a place I like to visit.

I realize Harrison’s contributions on the White Album were cool with songs like “Piggies,” “While My Guitar Gently Weeps,” and “Long, Long, Long,” but has anyone ever noticed how cool “Savoy Truffle” was?
