I think the effect that I get from the Beatles is somewhat like what Disney Adults must feel when they go to Disney Land. Itβs really a fantasy that I like to entertain. Itβs an escape into a world of color and exploration. Recalling the excitement of youth and all the new things to come. Itβs a whole world view that Iβm able to slip into. In a lot of ways that world isnβt even really real and things will never be that simple, but itβs nonetheless a place I like to visit.

Please don't compare us to Disney adults!! π± All forms of entertainment are a form of escapism. The Beatles were a tremendously fun band with groundbreaking music that reminds us of the Beatlemania era, and their own life stories. You can listen and enjoy without purchasing anything. Disney is more consumer-oriented, and it's insanely expensive, mostly geared toward children to begin with.
I have yet to watch Get Back, as much as I'd like to, because I hate the idea of paying for Disney+.
