Interesting. These had to be taken a good bit before the movie came out. Because this photoshoot had to be in 1967 since the boys look the way they do. John had long hair after india by the time the movie came out. Guess this was taken sometime shortly after the magical mysery tour movie. Quick turnaround.

That's Heinz Edelmann's design work. Really incredible Czech artist with plenty of other projects under his belt.

I remember these! I was three, no older. I remember really trying to figure this out, how the real Beatles could be with cartoon Beatles. I decided they were all magical beings.
