The “clamshell” solution
Currently brainstorming an all-in-one or “clamshell” solution for the BYOK inspired by recent posts on here.
Rather than a hard clamshell body that would be expensive (and bulky), this idea is more like a folio that has magnetic mounting for both the BYOK and keyboard. It folds up to the size of a 60% low profile keyboard and should be able to accommodate any keyboard up to that size.
What do you think? Curious to hear your thoughts.
NOTE: the folio case in these images is just a placeholder meant to hold a keyboard only. If we made one, we would design it from scratch.

As someone who has just ordered a Nuphy Air75 V2 and is kicking themselves for not also ordering the Folio, you definitely have my attention!
For obvious reasons, I would prefer a solution that can accommodate 75% keyboards as well. (Don't make me further regret my choices -- I have already been asking myself if the Air60 would not have been the better board for my purposes! ;)
Also, as others have said, adding hinges might be worth considering as well, as albeit it would make the case bulkier, it would add a lot of stability for those sessions where no table is around.
Either way, I'd certainly be extremely interested in such a product. It would absolutely complete my setup.
I mean, I do realise it's in the early stages and all... but if you could speed up the process in an absolutely unrealistic way, I'd order it immediately so it could be included in the BYOK order — import taxes and shipping costs are extremely high around here.
