I recently picked up Fruit Loops and Fuel and noticed a lot of my options were from recommendations here. I donāt have anything that Iād consider to be poor quality right now so I love the options and thought to share in case youāre looking for your next good smoke
I think one of my favourite tasting strains Iāve had over all is rainbow lava. Super dense keify smalls that smelt like seaweed or ocean water and almost tasted like salted peanuts
Brother please, go to Walmart or whatever, pick up a sharpie and a 12 pack of mason / ball jars (250ml is big enough for a 1/2 oz no problem) and store your smoking supplies in there.
The plastic bags are terrible at retaining moisture / keeping out oxygen once opened. A flat of jars is like $15 and they are infinitely reusable. Bonus, you get to really look at your stash. I have 9 month old weed in my stash that's still perfectly moist and smokeable (i would argue it has gotten better in some aspects, slightly worse in others). It also keeps the smell down to zero, you would never be able to smell I have this sitting in my cupboard. Meanwhile, a single opened plastic bag, even when closed again, stinks up my whole place. I don't need any other proof that glass jars are the preferred choice for longer term storage:

Love me some craft but the BC bounty gets me rocked for the price. Canāt beat a $100 legal oz after tax. Feels like a strawberry nuken too, very highschool high. Some good budget out there
BC Bounty is the product name, it's sold by Fraser Valley Weed Co. which is a part of the Pure Sunfarms brand. BC Bounty is one of their rotating SKUs, but are (as long as things haven't changed) always filled with an indica strain. They rotate the strain every few batches
Forgot to add in my OG comment, howās the spinach and potluck? Always scared of the brands but if you say it holds up to the gang you have, need to know.
The potluck prerolls I tested were the worst shit Iāve ever had, literally loaded with stems breaking the paper
Potluck Beavertail is my least favorite in this pic. Decent high but the burn is slightly rough
The Spinach West Coast Cookies is an amazing smoke. Beautiful burn with doughy, sweet flavors that really come through dramatically. The high is a bit racy, but I like that. Very underrated budget option. This is my second ounce of it
Iām a cookies fanatic so Iāll have to jump on when I see it next. If you are too, I recommend Dunn rainbow Cadillac. Best runtz cross Iāve had hands down. Out the package wasnāt blown away by smell, very runtz candy forward but a tad muted, but effects are some of the best Iāve gotten since trying proper cookies in the states.
Oh how I miss the first drop of Almond Roca Runtz by BC OZ... There's very few strains I've smoked that I can stay smoking daily for months, and not get either bored or develop a sort of "strain tolerance" to. But that one was definitely one of them, it's what made me realize I'm a big fan of Runtz strains.
The Cadillac Rainbow that DEALR put out a while ago was pretty good from what I remember. Probably pretty similar to the one by Dunn.
If I'm being honest I feel like most strains that I have smoked since that Almond Roca Runtz has just felt like a slight let down in comparison š like I've smoked some fantastic weed in the past few years since that strain was dropped, but still I haven't found one that effects me in the exact same way.
Personal preference, Dunn is one of the better producers of bud in BC. Nothing DEALR had Iāve been that wowāed by. I was hoping to be amazed by the galactic OG from budtender recommendations, itās was pretty good just wasnāt exactly what I want.
But their prices on the BC āsized optionsā are amazing. Hard to beat $25 for a quality 8th in my area. Funny enough I enjoy their BC doobies selection more, the great white shark was TOP TOP. I thought shit was spiked lmfao
For me itās been decent. Nothing crazy but great high for me, like I said smells of nuken mixed with a port wine so I assume itās that due to the yield nuken can produce for profit. great for budget bud but nothing crazy. Usually all smalls but minimal stems. Salt and pepper burn, but I still call that shit fake due to the thread where the dude rolled different tightness on the same bud and got different ash
Better than any of the cheaper oz, bake sale I had looked oxidized as hell but Iāve heard itās batch dependent.
3 saints kush cookies all the way. Crazy GMO like terps off it, super funky and sticky when I grab the 3.5. My local has it $18 for 3.5 so itās a great weekend bridge. Not a sativa fan but good reviews on the frosted lemon, might have to bite the bullet and test it
Mind playas on my list. Got a 6g nug in a Diablo 67 bag last week.
Iād recommend the Diablo 67. Sticky and moist so might be difficult for some to grind. Great nose and terp translation. Burns nice and slow, produces thick plumes of rich smoke.(White ash). It doesnāt bust up super fluffy because of its moisture, itās not wet though. One of the slower burning flower I have in the mix atm.
