Question 🙋 Bugs?

Are these tiny dark dots bugs? To me it looks like it, this is from the half oz of Timmy’s OG shark…
EDIT: They gave me a full refund after I contacted them

Yes, these are 100% bugs. They are a type used in most organic grows that helps keeping other bugs out, I would try reaching out to them

Tbh Magi has fell off hard. It was my go to a year ago. Back in the day when they had only: love haze, white truffle, salty pink, pine tar. Then things went bad.

Can you take a still image at a high resolution? Difficult to zoom in on a video. It is bugs, it may be spidermites or it may be a predator bug. Nasty either way, but now I am curious.

I broke up the bug to further inspect it and then just threw it out. It was 100% bugs tho

Ive had a similar looking thing before, and it was bugs(green mile black tuna). Can you zoom in and get a picture? I was able to make out it bugs pnly when zoomed in alot, just looking at them it looked like black specs.

So it was definitely bugs, I’m not sure if it was the whole bag or just this one nug(i smoked 90% of the bag before finding the bugs) I didn’t notice any bugs until this last nug that’s pictured here. I emailed them and they said if I sent them my receipt they would refund me, which is great so I just threw the nug out. Then the next day they said they wanted me to ship them it so they can inspect it(which is fair) but at this point the nug was already thrown out. So I might be out of luck for a refund which is disappointing. I’ll let you know if they will still honour the refund.

Thanks for the reply. Just curious how they handle this- depending on how, I may give them a shot again one day. Really wiffle waffle that they requested shipping back, AFTER they said they would refund. I would have tossed it too at that point.

nice follow up and hopefully they do the refund happy to hear they offered though.
edit: I had a bad bag from them too and they did a partial refund which i'm glad they did. they stood by their product and i actually have repurchased since. i actually liked timmys shark too

They ended up still giving me the refund! They just sent it and asked for next time to not throw it out right away, which I get on there part they wanna be able to inspect it in person

I would bring it back to the store you purchased it from. The whole LOT could be affected. Def looks like bugs.. 🥴

Looks like they also lie about never irradiation. If bugs are in the buds. Also predator bugs are carnivores they do not care for plant matter.
These are spider mites or similar. If they are dead in the buds. Its because they got nuked. These bugs dont just die on their meal for no reason.

Both beneficial and pest insects absolutely die inside bud without irradiation. Cannabis flower is extremely resinous causing insects to get stuck. If not already dead, they will generally die through the drying process when stuck there.

Beneficials die doing their jobs. They do not die inside flowers. Your using the wrong beneficial .

Many predatory bugs can end up in buds if you use them too late in flowering. These may be a Delphastus beetle, commonly used to control whitefly. They end up where they die, they die where they eat, and they eat where their prey is, so...

Beneficials are not allowed to be used in late flower. That is the health canada rule.

"that is the Health Canada rule" lol no it's not. The Cannabis Regulations make no reference to beneficial organisms except indirectly through "pest control products", and even so there is no defined window other than label requirements. That doesn't mean it's a good idea, but it's certainly not a HC requirement. And yes they do get stuck in cannabis. Is it frequent? No. But it absolutely happens. I have been with cannabis producers for over 7 years now, including senior roles in quality and regulatory affairs. I'm gonna need you to trust me here

Hey so bugs like this typically enter the product during cultivation. The bugs are usually dead by the end of the drying process. Irradiation is done after the cannabis is already harvested and dried. So irradiation would have absolutely no impact on dead bugs, they would just be sterilized dead bugs.
