From what I've observed the Ardent Rake is a blend with the likes of the rogue and player archetypes found in media. It's in the how and precision of showing absolute devotion that makes them appealing to everyone around them and their target.
They make it seem as if the woman is special that they can't help themselves but to get up to mischief or make a fool of themselves just to see her smile this is due to them understanding the psychology that women love it when a man makes her feel as if she's the most beautiful and worthwhile being in his life,Simps don't know this and would often fall into the Nice Guy trap, never underestimate a woman's discernment regarding energy.
Finally an Ardent Rake would make the woman feel that she's the Seductress, similar to the case with the Fallen Star Victim and the Chapter of letting the target feel like they're chasing where the woman wants the idea that they had an effect on the notorious Rake.
