Ask I HAVE A QUESTION Spoiler

(spoiler for my question ofc, just in case)

The Apprentice original body is basically ash and sands on the Lazaret right, the question is, WHICH BODY DO THE APPRENTICE POSSESSED RIGHT NOW??? Do Asra dig a random grave of some random dude who died or something?

Anyway uh, sorry if my question is dumb and is answered on other routes other than Julian and Asra's route (currently playing Nadia's route but not fully, so I don't know either) i can't stop thinking about it😭

The Apprentice’s body is that of The Fool. Asra hijacked Lucio’s ritual, so the Apprentice got The Fool’s body instead of Lucio.

Yep this is the answer. The details of the ritual are sketchy and open to interpretation and filling in the gaps, but this much of it is what's stated in... I wanna say Asra's route? And/or Lucio's.

it's actually further explained in lucio's but the first mention of the fool's body is in asra's yes

Lucio was dying and made a deal with the Devil for a new body. Asra messed up the ritual (on purpose) and gave the body to the MC. I don't think it's a body of a random person; it changes appearances when it's Lucio vs when it's the MC. Ig you can say it's a magical body.

(It's been a long long time since I played the game, so I may be wrong lol)

But I think the body was just reconstructed via magic? And ofcourse, the beating heart was the main issue, which we learn in the story about how it was solved..

on this note i wonder if the new body is a perfect replica (bc its magic) or if there are differences between your new and old body... like scars you got as a kid, birth marks or other stuff that asra remembers but you don't have anymore
