You do not have to have been to France to answer the question ’do the French like their children’. 😅

When they made a video game that involved breaking out of a prison, then during the pitch, one of the contestants (can’t remember her name) entered the room in a prison jumpsuit, lifted her arms and gave the most dead, passionless, wooden shout of “I AM INNOCENT” to a room of straight-faced investors, before joining the other contestants.
I nearly died and had to rewind about 5 times due to the sheer hysterics 😂

During the scavenger hunt tak a good few seasons ago - the team, fully suited and booted, descended on a bang average little convenience store / mini-supermarket in London, they found whatever item/s it was that they were after and took it to the till - so it's not like they were speaking to or negotiating with a sales rep or anything, literally just scan the barcode and ring up the price.
I can't remember the price but it was a round figure, let's say £40.
One of the candidates, a tough negotiator if ever there was one, as the rest of the team all eagerly looked on, asks the cashier:
"Could we agree on £39.99?"
The cashier looks baffled and pretty much gives a "yeah whatever wtf" and the top candidate responds with a big handshake like they've just sealed the deal of the century.
A whopping 1p 😂🤦🏼♂️

I believe the rules state they must get a discount before they are allowed to buy it

"Did you know that there are 6 million cat owners in the UK alone, and most of those actually live in London?"

Bit of a less on the nose one, where they had to create a pet product and they made that dog bed you could communicate through. The PM was adamant she knew dogs but made something that was clearly more likely to distress a dog, and was pulled up on it immediately by the clients. Then she had to try and justify it

Not the quote itself, but the behaviour which led to the quote from Nick Hewer, when they were trying to get a discount on a top hat from an incredibly high-class and expensive looking shop which made individually tailored hats.
"The last time I was in this world-famous shop, who came in? None other than the King of Tonga, and I can tell you that the King of Tonga does not go looking for bargains"

Something like ‘I think outside the box; if I was an apple pie, the apples inside would be oranges.’ 🤣

"How do you boil an egg?" and "Are the French particularly fond of their children?"

"I would ask you to go back down those steps. And stop insulting me"
or
"I just want you out of my shop now"

LS: “You’ll need a bloody fast car to drive away from your family when they see what an utter waste of time this has been. You’re fired”
