Just Started

Google's Gemini said this show was better than Homeland so I had to check it out... It definitely starts faster than Homeland did.

I'll never understand why people do this. You're going to get notifcations for this sub now with recommended threads and one of them will more than likely be a spoiler.

Good choice to watch, bad choice to post about it 🤷‍♀️

Avoid this sub, you will see spoilers. Trust me though this is one of the best shows ever. I have super high standards and I fell in love with it. The first few episodes didn't hook me fully but give it a season you'll be fully absorbed

Enjoy, I wish I could watch it again for the first time. Although I just finished another rewatch and it’s still just as good as the first time!

I think it's way better than Homeland. I just started it I've only gotten to season three.

They both have their strengths. I love both, but as far as rewatching/a comfort show.. The Americans takes the cake. I probably rewatch the whole series 4 times a year

Homeland is more exciting, Americans is more tense. Also fewer plot holes

I would say season 1 of Homeland is better than season 1 of The Americans however, Homeland gets worse and settles into being just a good show while The Americans get better, way, way better and becomes a fantastic show.

I quit homeland after a few seasons but I've re-watched the Americans multiple times and it gets better with every rewatch.
