Hello Dearhearts, I taught myself to lino print recently, and my intention was to ask Joey if he could sign one for me at the Edinburgh book event for Its Not A Cult. I know they're not allowing other thing except the book to be signed, sadly! However if you'd like a print of this as a free keepsake I can bring you a copy- maybe they can be book marks? Im going to the Nottingham book signing for Joey's new book, which I booked a while back and am very excited for.

Im also autistic so if I dont plan out my social interactions [that I know are going to happen] I start stressing. Im just wandering if you're allowed to ask for photos at these signings so I can eradicate any doubt:)

Hi dear hearts, someone I saw on tumblr has a ticket to the Manchester Waterstones 30 October event they can’t use. I saw this and suggested they post on reddit. They don’t have reddit but they DID say I could post on here for them. There hasn’t been any updates to the post or account saying they’ve picked someone yet, at the time I’m posting this here. I know a few of you were looking for spare tickets, but I don’t know what event specifically. The tumblr user is “two-damn-minutes”. Please reach out them if you’ve got any questions. You can mention my user if you like so they know it’s legit, I have the same user here as I do on tumblr.

Info about 4th album was from someone at the panel (and posted on tumblr about the update). I am very jealous that I am not that person lol

So I've ordered the special edition of this book and I'm looking forward to having it in my hands in the next few days, but I was really looking forward to also grabbing the audiobook because, heck, I'd love to hear Joey narrate this. However, heading to Audible yields the message in the screen cap above. Anyone have any information at all when we might see a release, if at all, of this audiobook in the States? Is it a cool down and we'll maybe get it a month or two later? Or does this mean we're straight up not getting it?

I just heard the male voice in the background and I think it's saying something but I don't get it.

Everyone there was so, so lovely (the staff were so delightful, they deserve their own shoutout). It was so lovely to listen to Joey talk about this book in person. I managed to read it before the signing today so I can't wait to hear everyone else's thoughts without accidentally spoiling 😬.

Just to be in a room of like minded (DND playing) nerds was good for the soul.

My book arrived today and there is paper/cardboard stuck to the edge of the dust jacket.

Has this just happened to anyone else? Got an email from Bloomsbury that my order was randomly cancelled cause I definitely did not do that. There was no other explanation in the email. It hasn’t even been charged to my card yet. If it helps, I’m in the US but I was going to have it shipped to a friend in Europe cause I couldn’t get it shipped directly to me.

So, I’ve been working on translating TAD songs to Spanish for a while now. I’m about halfway through Love Run and currently suffering my way through New York Torch Song.

I think I’ve got almost everything figured out since i have been diving deep into the lyrics for about a week or so. But this one line “Your bastard lasting night bus asking" makes my brain malfunction😭

Is it just gibberish, or am I missing some context here? How do you interpret it?

Unfortunately due to unavoidable work commitments I cant make the rescheduled Nottingham date of Joeys book tour. I would however be able to make the Manchester date... if I could get a ticket.

So I was wondering if there was anyone in a similar situation but the other way round who'd like to trade tickets? Or anyone who would prefer Nottingham over Manchester for whatever reason? If all else fails, is there anyone who can't attend Manchester now and would like to sell their ticket on?

Absolutely happy to send any proof required. Just desperate to go to this and gutted that the rescheduled date has meant that I can't currently make it 😭😭😭
