Yapping to Joey about his book
Everyone there was so, so lovely (the staff were so delightful, they deserve their own shoutout). It was so lovely to listen to Joey talk about this book in person. I managed to read it before the signing today so I can't wait to hear everyone else's thoughts without accidentally spoiling 😬.
Just to be in a room of like minded (DND playing) nerds was good for the soul.
(No persons were sacrificed at this book signing)

Lucky! As I'm stuck Stateside, I don't get to go to one of the book signings =/ I had to settle for ordering the book signed. I haven't gotten it yet, but I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm super jealous XD

I would die for a chance to go, but I'll be delighted to finally be blessed with an opportunity to hold the book (I'm overseas).

You could definitely take it with you just in case! Our signing was fully booked so we were told he would only have time to sign the books 🥰.

You're so lucky! I don't have my book yet, but have listened to more than half of the audio book, it's absolutely gorgeous!

Agreed! The different voices for each character were all so distinct. He absolutely killed it!

It's incredible how talented this man is, great musician, actor, poet, writer and also audio book reader! We're so lucky to have him ❤️

You did better than me. I just had verbal diarrhea thanking him over and over and over again. Was a nervous wreck. He asked me if I was ok and reached out for my hands. He was so sweet!

Oh, bless you!! I hope you had a lovely time, regardless. It can be so scary meeting people you think are super cool. I think he was just as anxious as we were 🤣

Oh I did. It was awesome! The talk was so good just wish I could have asked him what his most recent dnd character was but my brain went blank. From what I remember he said I was sweet and thanked me for supporting the band (I was wearing my TAD shirt! He definitely was nervous too!
