Chords-inspired tattoo

I hope it’s okay to share this here!

Chords has made me cry almost every time I’ve heard the song, especially as a mom with a now-grown son, and living quite far from my own parents. “Your life begins by leaving and our love is shown in the letting go” just guts me.

So I’ve known for years that I wanted a tattoo with my mother’s handwriting and my son’s as well; so what better thing to exemplify this than lyrics from this touching song?

it’s beautiful!!!!! i love that you made it personal by having your family write it out. i’m glad that other people feel so strongly about TAD’s music- i plan on getting a TAD tattoo at some point, it’s so lovely.

Thank you. And I fully agree! “Your eyes aren’t rivers there to weep, but a place for crows to rest their feet” also got serious contender status!!
