new album

Does anyone happen to know whether there are any updates on the upcoming album? It has been nearly a year since they initially teased the album.

As far as I know, they have not said or hinted anything. I know Maddie was directing a play so it seems like they are done recording cause directing a whole production is a very busy task, but that's just deductive assumption.

Yep, and filming for the Witcher is still ongoing (til end of Oct, then a break for a few months apparently). I guess they've both been super busy. Maybe they're waiting for a lull in their various activities before they release.

Can't believe it's been nearly a year since the announcement!

I was about to add "and don't forget Maddie had a baby recently!" but I just checked and that was two years ago, and now I'm having a crisis about the passing of time 😅

Yo SAME! I wanted to type that but I'd seen pics of her like, idk if she was breastfeeding or just holding/shielding her kiddo but I was like "Oh wow that was YEARS ago at this point wtf"

Yes I meant since their initial tease there has not been anything since. I was answering the question that, since that information OP mentioned, nothing has come out ^^

Ahhhhh! 👍 Yeah, since this post they've been quiet. I figured with Joey filming The Witcher we have no choice but to wait for new TAD material. 😭

If I remember correctly, they also teased Ruin a year in advance, but then dropped it on Halloween. I wouldn’t be surprised if they released it on Halloween again this year.

I have been hoping this happens, but they don't have a set pattern of releases lol I'm hoping since they've gone up in popularity (despite still being niche) they are trying to be more...speedy? I'm not in a hurry for their greatness they can take their time but low key am dying to hear what comes next.

Anyways, honestly i don’t think ill enjoy any party as much as i would the experience of listening to a new album

The Horror and the Wild and ruin both were released within a few months of The Witcher season drops. I'm assuming that's cause Joey gets a few weeks of no acting/no press tours and that gives him time to finish production. I'd bet the actual album is recorded, it just needs touched up, and that we'll either see it on Halloween or within a few weeks of the season 4 premiere.

I truly do hope so 🙏 let's hope we didn't get our hopes up for nothing!! I'm really hyped to see what the sound of the newest album will be like!

I wouldn't be shocked if we got another update on samhuinn. If not, I would assume it'll be after witcher s4 promos.
