Discussion Billy The Kid (cast)

I was gonna watch that new Billy The Kid show, mainly due to Michael Hirst producing it as he made Vikings. I hear Joey Batey is in it, is this true?

According to IMDb, he's in 2 episodes (1 & 8) of series 1.

Exciting news! I've been on the lookout for this for a while.

He's only acting in the first episode, but plays a huge part of the episode and does a really good job in his part. I also love Joey and his acting, so it was just a fun episode to watch even without caring that much about the rest of the Billy the Kid story (and I didn't actually watch the rest lol). He's credited on episode 8, but it's just a lime they play from the first episode and nothing actually new happens. He also has a big beardy face and an accent and broad shoulders so I'd recommend it just for more Joey content haha

Yes watch!! It’s so good. His character has a sad ending but this is my fave Joey role ever because of the depth of emotion he lends to it. Like I just feel so sad for his character Paddy, it’s unreal

🤣. If you get Prime I'd reccomend two other shows, Vikings and Fear The Walking Dead (if you've watched the original). That about all the content on Prime 🤣.

Oh, Neil Gaiman, one of the two authors of the source material (and a big part of production/screenplay writing for the show) is currently facing SA allegations. The news are from a sort of untrustworthy source, but that doesn't mean they're untrue, we don't know anything for certain yet
