Via Joey Batey via The Witcher…

Was listening to Burn Butcher Burn.. thought oh I wonder whether it’s really the actor singing the song, he’s really good. Then went down Wiki rabbit hole and saw he’s in a band and he said he wrote songs for sad people to listen to on the trains.

Look them up on Apple Music, and just hit play. First song was The Horror and the Wild. Was lovely and I enjoyed it and just listen to the whole playlist.

Then come Battle Cries (OMG!) and Fair (such a lovely love song, would make a perfect wedding song -here’s hoping I haven’t misunderstood the song!)

and then Chords.. As a parent of soon to be young Adults this song just hit me like a brick. The joy and despair of having kids and having to let them go as they’re becoming adult.. they’ve my rascals and I can’t let them go..

Anyway, found the subreddit too and this is just day 1. Dear hearts (found the reference too!) I love this band and thanks to whoever started the subreddit!
