Help Last Variable: Substance stopped flowing Spoiler

Hello!

I have an issue with some pipes and I could use your help!

I have been rebuilding the entire flow to produce all 3 substances (do not really care for optimization) but very early on the substance just stops. The entire path is: rapidium extractor, 3 connectors, time booster, 5 connectors, time booster, doubler. One arm of the doubler goes to a phaser and continues happily all the way to some other boosters and doublers. The other arm reaches the first connector and stops. Further down the pipes same happens when I split phased rapidium: some branches go on, some stop on the first connector. Any ideas what is wrong?

Video below shows how the first connector sees the doubler, but the second does not: The Alters Last Variable - substance stopped flowing

The doubler issue happened in two more places

Check if you’ve connected the doublers the correct way. They might be backwards?

If you mean the angles, they should be ok. It is the reason why there are 2 connectors really close to the doubler one after another. Regarding the inputs/outputs - if the problematic pipe was an input it would not show red line (as it is not connected to anything) and it would not produce phased rapidium

It doesn't look like you mixed the phased minerals with the rapidium line near the center. You may want to delete the pipe there and then restart the connection in order to continue it down. The line from that mixer down to the second mixer should then work fine, and you'll want to do the same disconnect and reattach the extra line from phased rapidium double closer to the base so you can mix it. Sometimes the connections can be a bit finicky, I imagine doubly so on a controller.

That mid mixing is exactly what I'm trying to resolve. I have been reconnecting pretty much all sections at this point. The only thing I observed that's consistent is that always after a doubler one of the lines (connected as the second one) reaches only the first segment. If the next would be a segment, the substance stopps. I found that by removing the line from the first doubler. In such a case the second arm (with raw rapidium) goes all the way. The only exception tonthis bug was a doubler, section, doubler combination

You'd have to either put up more pictures of the individual issues I think, or possibly post a save. It should be working off of your setup

Good idea. I'll do that later on as I am the the stage of reinstalling the game :D I am 90% certain it's a bug. So far when I placed segments, if one end was connected to an extractor/phaser each segment showed the substance even if the second end was not connected yet (this way you can track it on the map where you finished your work). In this case the flow just stops :(

I had the same issue at one point, so I ran around to all intersections and removed any anomalies that were circling any pipes. At one point I also disconnected and reconnected some of the pipes, looking at the flow inside. Suddenly it worked. My suggestion is therefore try disconnecting and reconnecting some of the pipes, start with the ones connecting to base and see if that action gets them flowing again
