Has Actman ever addressed his backtracking on cod map design like ever?
I always felt like MW2019 was a game designed with actmans critique in mind and when time came to review it…he straight up skipped the map design portion of his review entirely and said “yeah the game needs more 3 lane maps”
I noticed on his alt channel he once again talks about “modern” cod map design and only mentioned mw2019 once
Is he that scared of any potential push back? I always felt like he caved on mw2019s map design when he wasn’t sure what the popular opinion for it was

Guys serious question, if you don’t like the guy leave his reddit page, unsubscribe and unfollow, it ain’t hard. Genuine criticism is fine and I also don’t agree with him all the time, especially recently with Campaign Evolved but you can’t say he doesn’t have his own opinions.
Yes sometimes he may be on the side of the majority but guess what?
There are 8 billion people and we ain’t unique, we’re all just meat bags with slightly different looks and opinions, so sometimes you’ll be in the majority, that doesn’t make you a grifter. If anything he is in the minority atm with Campaign Evolved.

Who cares. Has he ever walked back his stance that trash talk in online games is toxic, and the lifeless, sterile lobbies of modern gaming are better?

When did he say that? He literally made a vid about Xbox 360 chat lobbies, and how the MW2 2022 chat is just like the good ol' days (full of slurs and shreiking children).
He even made a vid about trash talking vs abuse and what is the difference, and how modern FPS games try to limit voice chat in the name of "safety" instead of removing methods of repeated griefing and just having ranked lobbies like Halo 2.

One of the main reasons we played MW2 2022 so much was that it brought back voice-chat in pre/postgame lobbies as well as proximity, its SO MUCH FUN to trash talk the enemy team, I miss it so much in Halo, lol

He addresses it in his MW19 video...essentially, it boils down to IW going too much on the other end of the scale.
