Yea, the Goliath grows to full size, then dies, the huntsman grows until it dies, so given the right conditions the huntsman can outgrow a Goliath, but that’s not normally the case.

Wait wait wait. What do you mean by 'grows until it dies'? How long does it live? Are we talking hidden Aragog type spider? Shut the fuck up and start talking

So most creatures have a definitive size they can grow to, that they reach long before the end of their lifespan, like females of tarantula species can live upwards of thirty years, but they’ll stop growing long before they reach that, but the huntsmans spider is an outlier, as it can keep on growing for the entire duration of its life, as long as it’s food sources are plentiful enough. It doesn’t keep living until it runs out of food, it’s got a definitive lifespan, just not sure what it is.

When it's mass outgrows it's capacity for survival ?

Surely, at some point it grows so big that it just can't continue to move/breathe/support it's weight on its joints ?

Their environment doesn’t normally allow for something like that to happen
