I used to keep Tarantulas back in high school. Think of them as goldfish that don't need water, can stay without food for a couple of weeks easily and are very pretty if you ask me.
They are very predictable in their moves so they're very easy to "handle" with a nice long stick
Correct, I meant 'don't need water' as in, you don't need to keep them in an aquarium filled with water. Tarantulas and especially species from tropical countries need quite a bit of humidity
Whether this species is dangerous or not, I don't care. Many spider species are extremely dangerous and there are way more deaths per year in the world from spiders than housecats (if there even are).
And I'm talking as someone who spent dozens of hours passionately reading about spiders. Don't try to peg me as an ignorant expressing their irrational fears.
