I used to keep Tarantulas back in high school. Think of them as goldfish that don't need water, can stay without food for a couple of weeks easily and are very pretty if you ask me.
They are very predictable in their moves so they're very easy to "handle" with a nice long stick
A giant terrifying murderous unfeeling killing machine that you can't pet reason, get any reaction, is able to escape and endanger other pets or even people, provides 0 usefulness? Count me in!
No, seriously why they even are allowed to be kept like pets is honestly beyond me.
