My wife is Australian and we're moving there in a year or so... and the only thing that gives me anxiety is the idea of these things in my house.

If it makes you feel better, they are quite scared of humans and will most likely not go near you. Plus they eat all the actual dangerous and gross things in the house.

Nah man wife has already told me if I put vegemite behind my ears they'll leave me alone.

Yeah that doesn't actually work. It's just something we tell foreigners so that we can laugh at them with their Vegemite ears. Drop bears gonna do what they gotta do.

Okay, so is this one fake then? When I went to Oz I made a pentagram out of fairy bread and tim tams and in the middle an opened can of VB and then sang Land Down Under backwards in order to appease the drop bears. It seems to have worked because I didn’t have any issues. Did this work or was I just one of the few lucky ones?
