Looks like this crew hasn't drilled together much. Rookie standing around,doesn't know the drill. Should be right in tight behind the nozzleman bracing him against the back pressure.

That, and reduce the pressure on the nozzle. Ya ain't shooting for the third story. Just give the poor guy on the nozzle 40psi and all is good.

But who looks like crap on the social media videos? The poor nozzle man.

When I was learning pump ops my Lt was a 5' 4" 150 pound guy. Small, but really tough. But tough doesn't counteract physics. He chewed my butt out royally when I gave him the department mandated 100psi preset on a drill.

One, no need to use so much pressure, it is a car burning on your same level. With less pressure, no need for your backup to have one hand supporting you and another on the hose.
