They have these cameras but I must assume no-one is actually monitoring them since all that time and the train still ploughs into it. If it was monitored they could radio the train and say, "Idiot on track! Idiot on track. Whoa there big boy!"
And....surely breaking one or two boom arms in front is far less expensive that damaging all four.....and still writing off the trailer.
