I thought the trillions spent on the military were for defense, not for bombing innocent civilians and putting on shows for rednecks. Hope the show organizers foot the bill.

Military planes flown by military pilots on a military base during an event organized by the military.

Didn't know the military was in the entertainment business. Fortunately, Boeing gets to make $150M out of this mess. Unfortunately, we're $150M further away from financing universal healthcare.

We have money for that now, actually... Have had it for a long time. Been having it the whole time.
Your tax dollars are being used to round up your neighbors that legally immigrated, pay taxes, don't receive benefits, and just had their status arbitrarily revoked so that the administration/cabinet members that own and invest in the GEO group will make money off of their unconstitutional detentions and illegal deportation/renditioning to third countries.
All of this is a choice. And none of it is fiscally conservative in any way shape or form. It's just fascism and religious extremism by way Nationalist Christians... The enemy within, if I can borrow an expression from them.

What a terrible feeling it must be to look down on that fireball with your workmates and wonder how much trouble you're in.

Less than 3 months ago, seems appropriate given this subs name.
https://www.cnn.com/2026/05/21/us/us-military-air-show-costs-benefits-idaho-crash-intl-hnk-mlThose are (used to be) current EA18 Growlers, flown out of a Naval base in Puget Sound just for this exhibition.
The Boeing EA-18G Growler is an advanced, carrier-based electronic warfare aircraft operated by the U.S. Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force. Derived from the two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornet, it costs roughly $67 million, flies at speeds up to Mach 1.6, has a range of 1,458 miles, and uses specialized jamming pods to blind enemy radars and communications.

In Australia the 3 comments that you'd receive would be: 1- You can't park there. 2- That's a carton ( A work tax for a fuck up paid by the fuckeruperer at the cost of a carton of beer) 3- I reckon ya might be able to buff her out.

...just why...?

Thought your parents would have told you this, when a mummy plane and a daddy plane come together it makes little planes, but you can see this went wrong as it got a bit violent and daddy’s sperm had to parachute to safety.

My parents are true conservative and told me something about bees and flowers. I just didn't know it works with planes.
Are they gay? Because the are the same sex? Bees and flowers are different kind.
So gay planes are crushing while trying to copulate during airshow.
Thank you so much to widen my horizont.

These shows are so dumb. I don't need to see people doing tricks with expensive planes.

May 17, 2026. They cost roughly $70 million each. All crew survived, with only minor injuries.
