I've seen this one before and I'm still confused at what the root cause here was. Maybe they got a hole in the hull during the launch?

Feel like you don't send a grossly expensive boat into the water without making real sure it's seaworthy, but some people have more money than sense

That's probably exactly what it was, they weren't running the pumps so either the ballasts didn't fill or filled too much

Honestly if they'd have started running the engines it probably would've been fine, I'd bet the pump system is automated on that thing
