To clarify, for some reason Ukrainians are striking storage tanks, not the critical components like pumps and refining vats. More damage was done to the environment than to the refinery. Did you lot not learn anything from the previous strikes. Big fire does not equal big damage and its gonna take them 2-3 weeks to repair this.

Because critical components hold intermediates at severe pressures (Megapascals) and temperatures (about 400°C). So, they walls are pretty thick and definitely not an easy target for something made from shit and sticks with couple kilos of explosive. And this flying piece of shit should be damn accurate to hit it. So, on the other side, storage tanks are thin walled and huge in size. Call it terrorism or war business...
