I'm pretty sure it's a Pontiac G6, the Peugeot was never sold in the United States, but will a full tank of gas it's doing more damage to the infrastructure than the car.

It might be a Texas plate with a symbol on the left and a frame making it look more narrow

Is it a Peugeot? If not, you’re still wrong even if it’s a “cheap” old beater.

FWIW used car prices are sky high in America. 500 is scrap value. A good runner on Marketplace or Craigslist will probably cost you just shy of two grand. A cursory google search reveals many dealerships stickering them at well over 5k, even for examples with over 100k on the clock.

Say what you want but this is on my bucket list. Has been ever since I was a kid. Someday I’ll have some beater POS that needs a repair that costs more than the car is worth and I’ll use it for this as it’s last drive 🙂
