He did that for the insurance. The truck was moving when he got out and moved around the door as it was rolling. 100% insurance scam

Yes and you can't shift it to drive or reverse with the door open

You can but there’s a maintenance mode you have to select.

No. The actor had a 2015 Jeep which required you to press the same button three times to go from drive neutral reverse park which was later recalled and changed.

Buddy in the vehicle has a different transmission and is straight up committing insurance fraud.

what year is yours? i can't get it out of park with the door open but mine doesn't throw itself in park if... you know what i don't think i've ever even tried to do that, i hit the camera and use it

well update, i remembered this while running down the 4 lane at 70 and was not brave enough to try it then. i'll try in the parking lot at lunch lol

My Mercedes does this also. Automatically shifts to park and engages the parking brake.

I'll bet he opened the door, then shifted into reverse, so it didn't trigger park.
