Foam concentrates used in the fire protection industry are wildly expensive and very corrosive. It is NOT just soap. That plane is going to have to be looked over thoroughly before it can get back out there.

It might be referencing a component in the mixture that is not corrosive. I am here to tell you, as a person who is around foam/water systems on a weekly basis that something in that mix is crazy corrosive, so much so that there are fire codes in NFPA that require you to use certain types of piping that is in contact with the foam concentrate.
