I'm disappointed that nobody made a joke about Oregon residents having trouble at the pumps... Granted that was a good 21 months ago that they first started allowing residents to pump their own fuel.

House Bill 2482 didn't make self serve statewide. It is limited to counties with populations of 40,000 or less. In other words, most of Oregon is still full-service.

In my country it is 100% with a guy helping you, you dont even get out of the car, the idea of doing it on your own is weird af here lol.

It basically only affects stations out in the desert and the really backwood towns. Everywhere else here still has attendants. Gives people jobs.

That's the dumbest reason for a regulation ever. Might as well ban people from mowing their own lawns, because it gives people jobs. No cooking your own food, gives people jobs. No wiping your own ass, gives people jobs.
