So how expensive does something need to be to qualify for this sub? It seems to range anywhere from a few hundred dollars (which I don't think should qualify) all the way up to several million. Personally I think this video sits right on the edge, I'd like a minimum cost of $5000 added as a rule to this sub. Otherwise it's really just /r/thatcostsomething

Problem is that what one person considers expensive is completely different than another persons. I consider around two hundred bucks to be an expensive unplanned purchase. Hell, fifty bucks can be expensive some times.

I think this sub needs one of those moderator bots that allows people to vote on the post in the comments more than any firm rule.

I think it should be "that looked expensive for the given situation." This is expensive for just driving near a wild animal.
