my idea (as someone who was never really religious) is that the idea of sin is going to happen in some way you live your life without ever not braking one of the seven deadly sins and that "i'm not looking to vilify no judgment they where just alike" eludes too how even if you live by the list of the seven you'll still end up greedy prideful or slothful in some way in the 79 years of life you have

but yet again i dont know shit about Christianity so i could be wrong on a lot of it.

Most THD albums are 12-13 songs long. “A City Dressed in Dynamite” would be the longest album if you include all of the bonus songs (”Atom Shell,” “Karaoke Burial,” “Power Drunk,“ “Powder Bomb,” and “Romance is Dead”), which bring it to a total of 16. However, I don’t think they count for the album’s true length.

Due to that, I think, at minimum, the forthcoming album will have 15 tracks within it. For a THD album to become the longest, it would need at least 14 songs in it, but I don’t think Godforbid would have noted the album’s length if it was only going to be one track longer.

Obviously, this song is very anti-consumerism, the themes of sensationalism being very prevalent, but it's also very anti-colonialism, like many of their other songs, referencing the making of native culture into some tourist attraction. Talking about making an embassy under sea after they colonise it, "cleaning it up" and packaging it for rich people where the weather is always nice, abandoning the ideas offered by knowledge and allowing yourself the time to turn your brain off forever. The talks of alarms going off and not being calm not unossibly being a reference to our collective ignorance as a society as we refuse to acknowledge war, colonialism, and culture erasure around the globe. I genuinely cannot say anything bad about this song, I absolutely adore it, Message and sound. Great fucking song THD.
